Welcome to my new site! I'm thrilled to be updating once again. I have a lot of updates since I've really been active on social media, since moving back to South Carolina from Texas, and battling my mental illness.
I was hospitalized in August and restarted ECT treatments, which I've been going for maintenance treatments since then. It's helped tremendously, and I've been busier than ever with my full-time gig. I haven't had a single episode or hallucination since starting them, and let me tell you: it has been such a relief to function like someone without mental illness.
Seymour, my dog, got neutered a couple of days ago. While he was under, the vet confirmed that he needed four puppy teeth removed that hadn't fallen out. So, he's on a diet of soft food (which he loves) and has a cone around his head. Trust me when I tell you he's not happy about it.
I've decided to hold off on releasing When Roses Bleed, the second installment in my series, The Kylie Bell Chronicles. I will be releasing in the spring. Good news, however, is I'm working on a paperback version of When Snapdragons Whisper! Please, stay tuned for updates on that!
I'm hoping to become more active on social media again, as I haven't been on very much other than to just doom scroll through Instagram. Things have been a little rough since August, and with work as busy as it is, I just haven't had time to do much outside of it.
I'm working on getting my newsletter going with updates on life and writing, thoughts on mental health, and some tips for authors to help build their SEO presence. Stay tuned for that too!
